I can recommend this hotel to anyone who is not all that worried about expenses, we spent a period of about 10 days there. The service is as to be expected, very good, the food (à la “card” room service) as well. I only had the extensive breakfast once and that was the morning we left. The hotel has the largest pool on the island (never saw anyone swimming in it – who the hell needs a pool when one has seawater like that?). Safe and wireless-internet (with costs) in the room. The place is located centrally, exactly in the middle of a long beach at the “boat station 2”.
I was in the wing of the hotel facing towards the beach, had the second smallest room category, which I had booked as a package (including return flight to Clark/Angeles) at the Swagmann Travel Office just down by the Margarita Station in Angeles. Unfortunately the price of the room was per person. The best thing to do is travel there alone and just take your “beauty of the night” with you, doesn’t interest anyone anyway if you happen to drag one along. Apart from that there are a number of entrances, for example the one directly from the beach via the red staircase.
The room was large enough, even for my demands (I hate small rooms). It was nicely furnished but there was an unnecessary smaller second bed in the room. The bathroom was very nice, a super functional shower – one has the impression one is showering under a waterfall.
