I have stayed in Eastiny Inn quite a few times. This is one of my favourite hotels in Pattaya. It is more of the small and straightforward type. The service is very friendly; the price of a room depends on the season and type of room, 750 Baht for a standard room and 3500 for the large suite. The pool is a little small but enough to be able to relax during the midday period. One is able to swim a few lengths enabling one to recuperate from the previous night. Lady fee: no. however, only one person is able to accompany free of charge, if one wants to take a number of girls with then one must pay a supplement of 200 Baht. Strategically, the hotel is situated in a good position down Soi 8 meaning between the famous Soi 6 and the Walking Street. Loads of bars and now Gogos can also be found down this street. Adjacent to this place one will find the supermarket (7/11).

Standard Rooms:

The rooms are partially carpeted and partially tiled. The standard room’s bathroom is large enough, complete sanitary facility. The rooms (especially the ‘corner rooms’ and the suites) are quite bright. Anyone stopping over in one of these rooms wanting to go to bed with the intention of getting some sleep will not be very happy, the amount of noise coming from the surrounding bars is immense, and this right into the night. It never bothered me though. Restaurant service until 10 at night. One can always get a quick bite to eat by nipping down to the Soi 8.

Pool, View:

There are a few suites, one of them is large. This one is at the top of the hotel; I suspect it is a penthouse. Their sides are made of glass, the ceilings as well, separate bedroom. The bathroom however is quite straight forward but can be made ‘invisible’ to strangers eyes. If the weather is nice one can close the curtains and enjoy oneself on the couch, there is something about that. This provides nice lighting and a nice atmosphere. The suites are not all that cheap at all: managed to haggle the large one down to 2500 from 3500, recommendable for a few days stay.
