The Flipper Lodge is a nice institute in Pattaya. One is not able to complain about the condition of the rooms since its refurbishing in 2002. The same applies to its location, central, right in the middle of things. I myself have only tried it out once before, just happened that I had arrived in Pattaya during the Loy Krathong festival, this meant that I had to accept a smaller room for the three days I was stopping there. Prices during the high season start off at 800 Baht and end up at around 1500 Baht. Take a look at the pics on the homepage, took them during some nice weather ;-)) the suite looks quite nice on the photos (web page). As I have already mentioned, my room was just a temporary solution, two single beds, the last one that was still free and the view was not all that good either, the wall of a house. To compensate for this, the view from the small but nice pool on the roof is very nice (!!) quite impressive and one is able to look across into the Eastiny Inn suites ;-)) Not a bad choice for a few days though.
