After asking our way around a bit, someone riding a motorbike explained to us how to get there. This place is not very central, but also not all that far away from the main highlights. There is a motorbike taxi out front day and night. There is a sort of karaoke bar opposite, sometimes the music is very load indeed (cannot be heard in the room, well, not in mine anyway, was at the back of the hotel), there is also a large restaurant with live music and films. Was nice for doing something against being hungry together with the new chick, a beer went down well as well.
The special thing about the hotel: It is nearly brand new. During the evening it is lit up on the outside just like a ‘Golden Castle’ with numerous strings of yellow lights. A bit like a Cambodian Las Vegas. One thing is that they really do have a super bargain: 50 percent! There are various room categories. The simplest room costs 20 Dollars instead of 40. It is quite large, nicely furnished, and has a large bed. View out the back of the (long way off) mountains. The next best room is nearly the same apart from the fact that one has a view out to the front of the (long way off) sea. This category costs 25 Dollars instead of 50. Then there is a category that costs 30 Dollars instead of 60. This one is a little larger than the previous two. Additionally, they have a suite, yes, just one, this costs even more, 35 Dollars instead of 70. I was not able to take a look at it with it being occupied. With the smallest room still being large enough to serve my purposes, I took it in the cheaper version (view out to the back). I still tried to haggle at the reception, told them that the small room was enough but if they were able to give me the 30 Dollar room for 25!!! After a while of thought they told me that they were not able to, oh well, it’s not Thailand. Nevertheless, I was still satisfied with the hotel. I stayed for three or four nights, as all over they only accepted cash, I even had to leave a deposit of 30 Dollars.

Update:
I took the large suite this time and managed to haggle them down to 45 US Dollars (50). Discovered that there was even a sauna in the room…. For those who need such a thing. Forget the Jacuzzi, not enough water pressure, apart from that, top! And: the string of lights have fallen victim to economy measures.
