I agree with all positive appraisals of the Omni Tower. I had originally booked though Asia Travel, this is however not recommendable, as far as I am concerned they wanted a surcharge. I was supposed to pay the sum of 56 US Dollars but in the end only had to pay 1900 Thai Baht at the reception. This place is quite a bunker with a great view (had a room on the 31st floor).
The people here are friendly and everything is quite peaceful, which was due to it actually being a ‘long time’ (LT) apartment block.
Instead of a restaurant they provide the telephone number of a supplier from outside. They have all Thai dishes and supply around the clock. Due to lack of time I wasn’t able to try this service out.
I only stopped there for a couple of nights; I had planned on spending another night there on returning form PP. Unfortunately the arrangements I had made directly at the reception did not work out, which left me standing in a fully booked hotel only accompanied by my suitcase…. I wandered off down to the Playboy because the Majestic was full once again.
