Just the right name for the hotel... There really is nothing to complain about at all. Even the location seems to be optimal to me: Down White Sands Beach, the islands main tourist location. This is where the island’s only decent bit of nightlife is to be found and of course, there is a lovely beach.

There are a few bungalows with a view of the (very tropical) garden, three sea view bungalows and twelve hotel rooms. I had one of these, also with a view of the garden. One is able to sit on the balcony and enjoy the peace and quiet, just gaze at the green area. Great: room with a safe and internet connection. Not to be taken for granted on the island, something worth appreciating. There is also a large cable TV.

One has a lot of peace and quiet in this hotel, no nosey and scorning glances from package tourists one quite often meets on the island. Informal yes, but discreet, whether or who one takes back to ones room doesn’t interest anyone at all, especially with the reception closing at ten in the evening with one then having to use the garden entrance. There is a nice pool available, the price is reasonable (took a look at one or the other hotel, all more expensive and worse). I was there during the high season and paid 1590 Baht, the bungalows are more expensive, take a look at their homepage (Link above). On the homepage it is possible to make a direct booking.

All members of staff are also ‘TOP’ friendly; rooms are cleaned by 16:00 hrs.

They catch those things submerged in Thai schnapps themselves and offer the drink to new guests as a welcoming drink, haha, was just having a bit of fun, of course they don’t .
