The small hotel is situated directly on the beach a few hundred metres behind the Blue Rock. I took a “family room”, bit of a joke really. Small room with not much storage room. “Family” probably because it has a small cubby-hole with a small bed – it’s more like a broom cupboard really without further facilities; one could rent it out as a short time room. Only one air conditioning unit for both rooms. The bathroom, absolutely tiny. The worst thing: a tiny window, or better said, peephole. All in all one always had the feeling that one was living in a cellar.
The next day I took a different room on the top floor, was a lot better. Larger, more storage space and furnishing. Balcony door with a nice view of the pool and sea (first row of photos). The stop here was ok. The price identical to that of the family room: a hefty 2700 Pesos, of course, one is also paying for the location.
Second row of pictures: a mate of mine had booked the “mini suite”, it is actually a little larger, nice large window with a lot of daylight. Price: 3500 Pesos. Quite expensive but my mate said that it seemed to be the best room in the hotel.
All rooms have a small safe and free of charge internet.
The outside installation is quite nice; the pool is open around the clock and has a heated whirlpool.
The restaurant, which is open around the clock, has a good menu; the prices are a little lower such as the drinks at the bar and those in the mini-bar. The laundry is also reasonably priced. The personnel are friendly; bringing a girl along is no problem either.
During the main season one of the bay’s two floating bars is situated exactly in front of the hotel (the other in front of the Blue Rock), here one can get meals and drinks amongst pleasant company.
