Of course, quite a lot has happened here in recent times: It has become a lot cleaner, this alone due to the asphalt surfacing of the road, which prevents the dirty image. One also hears talk about how long the various bars will still be there, some are directly opposite the hotels, convenient for stumbling in to when leaving the hotel. Of course the hotel is ‘hospitable’, it is no problem to hang about the pool with ones chick or maybe even at the hotel bar. However, the prices are a bit steep (69 – 89 US Dollars). However, at first the hotel was completely booked, the two balcony rooms I had wanted were not available meaning that I had to be satisfied with a round trip of the hotel, that’s how I managed to take the photos. The facility is very generously dimensioned, the personnel are friendly and the location can be seen as central. The hotels biggest advantage is without any doubt the pool, no other centrally located hotel has such a pool. All in all the room seemed a little dull to me (furniture), most of the guests seemed to be Americans, which meant that the atmosphere was accordingly ‘cool’. |
