The island even has its own radio station. During the night-time one can watch them working through the window.

Had a good meal in Guillys. A good crew there.

After two in the morning (General closing time for the bars) there are three places down at the beach where people meet up, those who haven’t got anyone for the night. One place is called “Hey Jude”, the other Susan’s Place (Or some name similar, take a look at the photos, last orders here are announced according to regulations). And the third place is at the other end and is called something with bamboo, I think so anyway, was completely pissed out of my mind that day. Is open 24 hours a day, ask a trike-driver. Oh yes, for those of you who only know of trikes (The funny moped taxies with a roofed sidecar) from Angeles, here you will encounter a different version: The things really are large enough to sit up straight in. Those tiny things in Angeles are torture. Trike prices around town, 50 Piso.

Beachfront at night, girls, drinker’s paradise:

Something I didn’t expect: Time was much too short and I had not seen all I had wanted to even though the island is only seven kilometres long and one kilometre wide at its narrowest point. I hadn’t even managed to take a short boat trip, snorkelling or diving, this place is ideal for such pastimes. Well, at least I have a reason to visit the place again. That’s a promise, little island!!!

Finally I caught the plane back to Manila, from Manila to Bangkok. I spent my last day in Pattaya.
