Out and about: Hired myself a motorbike. Must say the prices are expensive. Due most customers only being occasional customers (Most holiday makers only spend a few days on the island) they only hire out by the hour. An hour is supposed to cost 300 Piso. At other places one can hire a bike for the whole day for the price of an hour here, even in Thailand/Phuket, for example the whole day costs 2500 Baht. I hired one for a whole week, haggled the price down to 6000…. Still too expensive but I didn’t want to be without a bike.

Lonely beach, nicely situated hotel facility on a mountain...

At Puka Beach and in the town with the same name: Lovely beach but also village life ala Philippines. There is a large school at this place (Some sort of school with bible and missionary). The kids run around in their school uniforms, there really are a lot of kids at this place and when one sees them running around and how happy they are it makes one feel good as well.
