“Big Buddha”!

Ok all you culture tourists! Let’s do a little something for your education...

“Big Buddha” (at Wat Phra Yai), anyone visiting Samui should definitely not miss this. It is a 17 metre high statue of Buddha, can be reached by crossing over a dam (near the airport). Apart from a temple with all the things that belong with one, one is also able to have a meal there, there are also absolutely loads of souvenir stalls, statues of Buddha in various shapes and sizes, joss sticks are lit up and gold leaf is applied.

There is even a sort of “electrical oracle” to predict ones own fate. One has to throw in a coin, a light rotates in a circle, first of all quite fast, but it gradually slows down until it stops at a certain point. This point has a number, and very practical, for each number there is a note below with all one needs to know about their near future written on it. Reminds me a little of the “Electrical Monk” from Douglas Adams. Of course, we tried it out... My next baby is to be a boy, and Noi’s will be a girl. Oh well, I will have to find someone else...

The whole facility is very colourful, I liked it very much. Thais really love lots of colour, the shining of gold also has something about it as well. It is known that Buddha teaches to be simple and modest. When it comes to religion, (also with Buddhists), gold is not so well liked by the Thais because it is expensive and valuable, but because it shines so nicely. Of course, Buddha is “the enlightened”, and the rays he produces are supposed to help others take the same path. For this reason, there is nothing better than gold.

For the last minute tourists (meaning those who hadn’t managed to get a travel guide, and get themselves accustomed to the customs and morals, and the does and taboos of the country), and also for those who are resistant to making experiences, there are notices informing one that shoes must be removed, and that one should make sure that one is moderately dressed.

Out and about at night: Gogo Bars, Discos, Beer Bars...

Here this is what Chaweng looks like during the daytime:

Good meals shouldn’t be absent in Samui! Here at an especially beautiful place....

A bit of a fashion show... The new Bikini (amongst other things.) is presented...

A few nice places and views...

A magnet to visitors: Here “Grandmas and Grandpas”, a few curiously shaped rock formations. Even this is Thailand, Business as usual...

...and here the “Na Muang 1” Waterfall (yes there are more):

Samui is well worth visiting!

We carried on to Pattaya for a bit of “hotter” action...

The U-Tapao airport (when arriving from Samui) is very deep in the province...

But Pattaya with Gogo Bars, the beach (“Bitch”-) Road, the Walking Street, the thousands of Beer Bars, that’s nirvana for a well-behaved sex tourist!!! The place will certainly wake you up.

Soi 6 with all its “filthy bars”, parties, ladyboys, and everything one can imagine... Yes, its just paradise in the “Land of Smiles”! And the girls do have VERY short skirts...

I stopped in the Sandy Spring Hotel again, right in the middle of the “filth”.

Visit to a disco in XZYTE:

My “girlfriend” is very very obedient, If you know what I mean... As a reward, I pay for her to have her nipples pierced, something she has wanted for a long time, cost me 700 Baht (14 Euros), for each nipple of course! She didn’t really enjoy it, but is very proud, and you will certainly be the next “friends” who receive the thanks, oh well actually me...

We had it done over a period of two days, it was a bit too much for her... Not even I was allowed to touch; a blowjob was ok though...

Koh Larn! A quick trip in a speed-boat out to the island, took about 20 minutes. Cost 1500 Baht for the whole day. Had a bite to eat, hung about on the beach, tried out a jet-ski, was quite funny and also something different, relaxed for a while...

A bite to eat, food, that’s something very important in Thailand, and that not mattering how you look at it... It’s something that we’re not very good at, also not mattering how you look at it. After that, off with the hens.

...and of course, back to the hotel afterwards.

So, that’s it for now! I hope that the short preview has given you an appetite for a holiday in the “Land of Smiles”. The detailed report with all tips and many more pics can be found on the current CD.
